SPIRITUALITY
Spirituality is the condition of a person made alive to God and directed by the Holy Spirit. It involves the renewal of understanding, affections, and will so that the whole person is centered on God and conformed to Christ.
Biblical Usage
The Spirit enlightens the intellect, directs the affections toward God and things above, and governs the will. Spirituality therefore involves vision, love, moral decision, and a God-centered life in which the faculties of the soul are voluntarily subject to Christ’s indwelling Spirit.
