Uzzi
Uzzi was the name of several Israelites, including an Aaronic descendant, members of Issachar and Benjamin, a Levite overseer, and heads of priestly families after the exile.
Biblical Usage
The various men named Uzzi include a descendant of Aaron, an Issacharite, Benjamites, a son of Bani who oversaw the Levites in Jerusalem, and heads of the priestly family of Jedaiah. Another Uzzi assisted at the dedication of Jerusalem’s walls.
