Vaticanus, Codex
Codex Vaticanus is a highly important Greek manuscript of the Scriptures, generally dated to the fourth century. It preserves substantial portions of the Septuagint and New Testament and is designated by scholars as Codex B.
Biblical Usage
The manuscript probably originally contained the Septuagint and the New Testament, though it is now incomplete. Its text is of great value in studying and forming the New Testament text.
