Wise, wisdom
Biblical wisdom is chiefly moral and spiritual rather than merely intellectual. True wisdom comes from God, leads to righteousness and reverence, and is fulfilled in Christ, who is called the wisdom and power of God.
Biblical Usage
Scripture teaches that wisdom is given by God to those who ask. In Proverbs, Wisdom may be understood as more than a mere personification of an attribute, and is associated with Christ as the power and wisdom of God. In Matthew, wisdom is presented as a personified principle.
