Zarephath
Zarephath was a Phoenician town near Sidon where Elijah stayed with a widow during the drought. In the New Testament it is called Sarepta, and Jesus referred to the widow in His teaching.
Biblical Usage
Elijah stayed with a widow at Zarephath during the great drought. Jesus referred to this event when teaching about the prophet and the widow of Sarepta.
