Stephanas

Stephanas was a Corinthian Christian whose household was among Paul's first converts in Achaia and became devoted to serving fellow believers.
Biography
First Corinthians 1 says Paul personally baptized the household of Stephanas. Near the letter's close, Paul calls his household the firstfruits of Achaia and says they devoted themselves to the service of the saints. Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus later came to Paul and refreshed his spirit, and Paul urged the Corinthians to recognize such workers.
Biblical Significance
Stephanas represents mature Christian service emerging from Paul's early Corinthian ministry and demonstrates the value Paul placed on believers who voluntarily devoted themselves to serving the church.
