"Qurayyah Painted Ware"

Qurayyah Painted Ware provides archaeological evidence of cultural and commercial connections between northwestern Arabia and the southern Levant during the Bronze and Iron Ages. Its presence at copper-production sites suggests that people, goods, and specialized knowledge moved between these regions. Although often associated with biblical Midian, the pottery cannot by itself establish the identity or political boundaries of the Midianites.
