Books
The Bible is not really a book, but instead, a library of books.
These books were written over a period of about 1500 years, and despite their creation at different times and by different authors, they combine to tell a remarkably coherent story of God's creation, his relationship with mankind, and his plan of redemption.
The Tanakh, (Old Testament), is divided into works of Law, History, Poetry and Prophecy.
The New Testament books contain Gospels, History, Letters and Prophecy.
