QUAIL
The quail was a migratory game bird that God provided for Israel in the wilderness. Large flocks came near the camp, supplying food while also testing the people’s contentment and obedience.

A queen could be a king’s wife, queen mother, or female ruler. Scripture mentions queens such as the queen of Sheba, Vashti, Esther, and Candace, and also uses the title figuratively for Babylon.
QUEEN MOTHER
The queen mother held a position of considerable social and political influence in the kingdoms of Judah and Israel. She could sit beside the king, advise him, or, in Athaliah’s case, seize royal power.
Queen of heaven
The Queen of Heaven was a pagan deity, probably associated with the moon and with the worship of Ishtar or Astarte. The women of Judah offered cakes to her, provoking prophetic condemnation for idolatry.
QUENCH
To quench is to extinguish fire, suppress desire, or relieve thirst. Scripture also speaks of quenching the devil’s fiery darts by faith and warns against quenching the Holy Spirit.
