Ashdodites
The Ashdodites were the inhabitants of Ashdod, one of the principal Philistine cities.
Biblical Usage
Ashdodites are mentioned in the account of opposition faced by the Jews during the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s wall. They are also called Ashdothites in the territorial description of Philistia.
