Nergalsharezer
Nergalsharezer was a Babylonian prince and Rab-mag who participated in the release of Jeremiah. He is identified in historical tradition with Neriglissar, later king of Babylon.
Biblical Usage
He appears in Jeremiah among the Babylonian princes who accompanied Nebuchadnezzar and among those who released Jeremiah from prison by the king’s command.
