LYRICS:
was born on Christmas Day in '72
And from that day on, I did whatever I wanted to
Running from God, breaking mama's heart
Dying each day, living too hard
It's a miracle that I ever made it through

By April 21, 1991
I was worn out, tired from all the miles that I had run
I saw an old church, and walked right in
Same old truth, but it felt new then
On April 21, 1991

Amazing grace, my eyes could see
I was born again at the age of 18
On a Sunday morning, Jesus got ahold of me
Hallelujah, 'cause the past is gone
Hallelujah, 'cause I found your love
Nothing was the same, everything changed
On April 21, 1991

Time goes by and days turn into years
There's been ups and downs but one thing's always clear
Your mercy calls with the morning sun
Like it did when I was young
On April 21, 1991

Amazing grace, my eyes could see
I was born again at the age of 18
On a Sunday morning, Jesus got ahold of me
Hallelujah, 'cause the past is gone
Hallelujah, 'cause I found your love
Nothing was the same, everything changed

"2000 Miles" is a song by British-American rock band Pretenders. Written by lead vocalist Chrissie Hynde. Some consider it aChristmas song because it is about two long-distance lovers who miss each other at Christmastime.

LYRICS:
3:41 AM, make that 3:42
Time just keeps rolling on while I'm here stuck like glue
So many things cross my mind
But nothing stays awhile, so frustrating
I just wanna say something worth while, speak through me

Say, say what You wanna say, and say it loudly
Say, say what You wanna say

6:45 AM, man that just can't be right
3 hours have gone by and this is all I've got
My common sense tells me I should get out the way, so You can speak
O Lord, show up or I'll be here all day, speak through me

Say, say what You wanna say, and say it loudly
Say, say what You wanna say, speak through me
If the idea's mine, it's nothing but a waste of time
So won't You say, say what You wanna say

Say, say what You wanna say
Say, say what You wanna say
Say, say what You wanna say (say it loudly)
Say, say what You wanna say

LYRICS:
Here I am at what feels like the end
So I come to you, my Lord, again
With this burden buried deep within
This heart that you have made
And in this trial that I'm going through
I don't question 'cause I know it's true
That the sorrow brings me back to you
And you have made me stronger

(Chorus)
It's been 40 days and 40 nights
Down the road of many trials
And I pray it's only for a season
'Cause in the wilderness and in the flood
You're the one I'm thinkin' of
'Cause I know you've brought me for a reason

I have one more thing I've got to say
Before they try to take my life away
Let it be known that I am not afraid
Let your will be done, Lord

(Repeat chorus 2x)

LYRICS:
[Daughter:] Hello
[Kirk:] Hey, it's me, Kirk, I need to speak to Bishop
[Daughter:] Sure, hold on...

[Jakes:] Hello...
[Kirk:] Hey... I got some stuff I need to talk to you about
Lately, pastor I've been...having all these crazy kind of dreams
It's hard to sleep, I can't eat...scary, you know
[Jakes:] I know what you mean
[Kirk:] I mean, every since that Tuesday, seems like life's just getting real strange
[Jakes:] I hear ya
Anthrax, terrorist attacks and... I ain't even trying to get on no plane
[Jakes:] I feel ya
[Kirk:] ...and you know when I try to pray, there's a voice that telling that God's not real
[Jakes:] You know that's just the enemy
[Kirk:] Yea, but you ain't feelin' me
[Jakes:] No son, I know just know you feel...
See, just because I preach and teach don't mean I don't get scared sometimes
[Kirk:] yea, whatever, but you T.D. Jakes
[Jakes:] Well, then I don't make mistakes...
[Kirk:] Well...
[Jakes:] Now, let me tell you what's on my mind...
When your smile is gone (He cares)
[Kirk:] Yea, but I feel so alone (He's there and...)
[Jakes:] Although, your heart is heavy, God said: (every burden I will bear)
[Kirk:] See, but you don't know my (my pain)
And I'm getting so sick and tired of all (this rain)
I just got laid off, and to top it off the rent's due, so tell me what I got to gain?
[Jakes:] Well, see, trials come to make (you strong)
Storms won't last (last long)
[Kirk:] But how can I trust God in all this mess?
[Jakes:] Well, see that's the reason for the song
See, wherever you go there's one thing ya got to know
God, is right there by your side (weeping may endure for a night)
And he told me to tell you everything (everything's gon' be alright)

So thank you for calling...it's always good to hear from you
[Kirk:] yea, but...
[Jakes:] But I gotta go now
[Kirk:] wait a minute...
[Jakes:] I got another call on line 2
[Kirk:] But I ain't through

[Kirk:] See I'm sick and tired of all these church folk talking about stuff ain't as bad as it seems
See, y'all don't feel my pain...
[Jakes:] I don't have pain...?
[Kirk:] I don't see how ...you on the cover on Time magazine
[Jakes:] See, but you're looking at now and you don't know how I struggled and what I've been through
[Kirk:] Yea, whatever...
[Jakes:] Now, you crossed the line...
[Kirk:] I'm just speakin' my mind
[Jakes:] O.K. so let me speak mine, too (Hmmmmmm)
I've made some mountains, I've seen some valleys, I've even had to cry sometimes
Like when I lost my mother
[Kirk:] Your mother?
[Jakes:] My mother:
[Kirk:] I'm sorry...
[Jakes:] No son...that's fine: ...see life is full of ups and downs but God said
(the storm won't last long)
[Kirk:] But how'd you make it through?
[Jakes:] Boy, I thought you knew...it was His (love that kept me strong)
When your smile is gone (He cares)
[Kirk:] But I feel so alone (He's there and...)
[Jakes:] Although, your heart is heavy, God said...(every burden I will bear)
[Kirk:] yea, but see...y'all don't feel (my pain)
And I'm getting very sick and tired of all this (this rain)
Just got laid off, and to top it off the rent's due, so tell me, Bishop, what I gotta gain?
[Jakes:] Didn't I tell you trials come to make (you strong)
And those old storms won't (last long)
[Kirk:] How can I trust God in the midst of all this mess?
[Jakes:] See that's the reason for this song
Wherever you go there's something ya got to know (God still cares)
(weeping may endure for a night)
And he told me to tell you (everything's gon' be alright)

[Kirk:] Thank you pastor
Jakes: Any time...
[Kirk:] I think I can make it now...just tell me what I need to do
[Jakes:] Just pray this prayer with me...
Say: Father (Father) forgive me (forgive me) I'm sorry (I'm sorry)
Please help me (help me) I love you (I love you) I need you (I need you)
Hold me (hold me) Jesus (Jesus)
My heart (my heart) my soul (my soul) please take (please take) control (control)
Right now (Now) now (now) now (now) (right now)

[Jakes:] When you ain't got no smile (he cares)
[Kirk:] and even when you feel so alone (he's there and...)
[Jakes:] Although your heart is heavy, God said (every burden I will bear)
[Kirk:] And even in the midst of all ya (pain)
And when you're sick and tired of all the rain (this rain)
Remember that the rain won't last always...and in Christ Jesus, you got so much to gain
[Jakes:] You see your trials come to make you (strong)
And the storms won't last (too long)
[Kirk:] Remember my brother, my sister...it's only temporary
[Jakes:] See that's the reason for this song
Wherever you go
[Kirk:] There's something you've got to know
[Jakes:] God is still there (weeping may endure for a night)
[Kirk:] And told me to tell you (everthing's gon' be alright)

LYRICS:
The season is upon us now
A time for gifts and giving
And as the year draws to its close
I think about my living

The Christmastime when I was young
The magic and the wonder
But colors dull and candles dim
And dark my standing under

Oh, little angel, shining light
You set my soul to dreaming
You've given back my joy in life
You filled me with new meaning

A savior king was born that day
A baby, just like you
And as the Magi came with gifts
I've come with my gift, too

That peace on earth fills up your time
That brotherhood surrounds you
That you may know the warmth of love
And wrap it all around you

It's just a wish, a dream I'm told
From days when I was young
Merry Christmas, little Zachary
Merry Christmas, everyone

Merry Christmas, little Zachary
Merry Christmas, everyone

LYRICS:
There's an old friend
I once heard say
Something that touched my heart
And it began this way

I was born by the river
In a little tent
And just like the river
I've been runnin' ever since
He said it's been a long time comin'
But I know my change is gonna come
Oh, yeah

He said it's been too hard livin'
But I'm afraid to die
I might not be if I knew
What was up there beyond the sky
It's been a long, a long time comin'
But I know my change has got to come
Oh, yeah

I went, I went to my brother
And I asked him, "Brother
Could you help me, please?"
He said, "Good sister
I'd like to but I'm not able"
And when I, when I looked around
I was right back down
Down on my bended knees
Yes I was, oh

There've been times that I thought
I thought that I wouldn't last for long
But somehow right now I believe
That I'm able, I'm able to carry on
I tell you that it's been along
And oh it's been an uphill journey
All the way

But I know, I know, I know
I know my change is gonna come
Sometimes I had to cry all night long
Yes, I did
Sometimes I had to give up right
For what I knew was wrong
Yes, it's been an uphill journey
It's sure's been a long way comin'
Yes it has

It's been real hard
Every step of the way
But I believe, I believe
This evenin' my change is come
Yeah, I tell you that
My change is come

LYRICS:
Power thunder, lightning bolts
Rushing wind, a waterfall
Babies' cry a mother's tears
Humming river, rustling leaves

Chorus:
He's calling loud and clearly
He's saying "Won't you hear Me"
We see Him everywhere
And still we roll on by

Winter snow, a fire's warmth
Summer's day, a cold heart turns
Peaceful place, a helping hand
Kindly words, a smiling face

Chorus

He was God but one of us
A king who had a servant's heart
Born to die so we might live
His reason was His Father's will

Chorus
Repeat
Power thunder, lightning bolts
Rushing wind, a waterfall
Winter snow, a fire's warmth
Summer's day, a cold heart turns

LYRICS:
Sing sweet and low a lullaby till angels say Amen
A mother tonight is rocking a cradle in Bethlehem
While wise men follow through the dark, a star that beckons them
A mother tonight is rocking a cradle in Bethlehem

A little Child will lead them, the prophets said of old
In storm and tempest heed Him until the bell is tolled
Sing sweet and low your lullaby till angels say Amen
A mother tonight is rocking a cradle in Bethlehem

A mother tonight is rocking a cradle in Bethlehem
A mother tonight is rocking her Baby in Bethlehem

LYRICS:
I've traveled long, I've traveled hard
And stumbled many times along the way
I've bruised my knees a lot
And turned my back on God and seen His mercy

I've been quick to judge and slow to learn
So many times, I've gotten in the way
I think, I know so much
I've questioned God enough but still He loves me

So now, I'll walk a different road
I want to see Him there before I even go
I've run ahead and gone too slow
I've got to be still now and wait upon His will now
This time, it's gonna be His time

Don't want to live without the peace
That comes to me when I am by His side
I've known the freedom there
I can't find it anywhere but in Christ Jesus

So now, I'll walk a different road
I want to see Him there before I even go
I've run ahead and gone too slow
I've got to be still now and wait upon His will now
This time, it's gonna be His time

I believe He's got a plan
Everything in His time
I may not always understand
Everything in His time, everything in His time

So now, I'll walk a different road
I want to see Him there before I even go
I've run ahead and gone too slow
I've got to be still now and wait upon His will

So now, I'll walk a different road
I want to see Him there before I even go
I've run ahead and gone too slow
I've got to be still now and wait upon His will now
This time, it's gonna be His time

So now, I'll walk a different road
(Everything in His time)
I want to see Him there before I even go
(Everything in His time)
So now, I'll walk a different road
It's gonna be, it's gonna be
It's got to be His time, this time
