Ramesses IX ruled for nearly two decades during the declining years of the New Kingdom. His reign is particularly well documented by records concerning investigations and trials of tomb robberies in the Theban necropolis.

 New Kingdom
20th Dynasty

c. 1111-1107 BC

Ramesses X ruled during the increasingly troubled final decades of the 20th Dynasty. Surviving evidence suggests continued economic difficulties, insecurity, and weakening royal control, while relatively little is known about the king himself.

 New Kingdom
20th Dynasty

c. 1107-1077 BC

Ramesses XI was the final pharaoh of the 20th Dynasty and the last ruler of Egypt's New Kingdom. During his long reign royal authority weakened dramatically, especially in Upper Egypt, paving the way for the political division of the Third Intermediate Period.
