Psusennes II was the final pharaoh of the 21st Dynasty and ruled during the transition from the Tanite kings to the Libyan 22nd Dynasty. His reign immediately preceded the accession of Shoshenq I.

 Third Intermediate Period
22nd Dynasty (Libyan)

c. 943-922 BC

Founder of the 22nd Dynasty, Shoshenq I campaigned in the Levant and left a record of conquered places at Karnak. He is widely identified with the biblical Shishak.

 Osorkon I
Regnal Name: Sekhemkheperre-Setepenre

 Third Intermediate Period
22nd Dynasty (Libyan)

c. 922-887 BC

Osorkon I succeeded Shoshenq I and inherited a kingdom strengthened by his father's consolidation of royal power. His reign was comparatively prosperous and is known for substantial gifts to Egypt's temples and continued Libyan influence within the royal house.
